A handful of Indigenous youths from Maroubra's Kool Kids Club recently spent three days at beautiful Gerroa on the NSW South Coast as part of Surfing NSW's Indigenous Surfing Program. Under the expert guidance of Surf Camp Australia, the aptly named Saltwater Dreaming Aboriginal Surf Camp guided the youths through a series of exercises which included: beach safety, ocean assessment and environmental awareness.
