HPC Performance Surf Camps — Invite only camps For U12 to U18 Boys & Girls 

Join the next generation of Australia’s elite surfers at the Hyundai Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC) — the country’s premier destination for developing young surfing talent. 

Our 2 – 3 day HPC Performance Camps are designed for competitive surfers aged U12 to U18, combining world-class coaching, technical training, and personal development in a fun and focused environment. 

Led by HPC Coaches, each camp dives into: 

  • Competition & Heat Strategy — learn how to plan and execute winning heats. 
  • Emotional Management — develop tools to stay calm and perform under pressure. 
  • Video Analysis & Feedback — break down your sessions with professional insights. 
  • Surf-Specific Fitness & Mobility — build strength and endurance tailored for performance. 

Includes; Chaperone led accommodation, main meals, coaching, video analysis, and beach transport and more

Selection Criteria: spots are limited and often based on national Junior Rankings

How do Academy athletes get selected?

Athlete applications are reviewed by a selection panel made up of Academy coaches and Surfing Australia’s High Performance staff. Successful applicants will demonstrate that they surf at an advanced level, have competitive experience and apply themselves academically.

Do I have to attend Lindisfarne to be in the Academy?

Academy athletes will be required to attend Lindisfarne on a full-time basis where possible. Surfing Australia will grant a limited number of exemptions for non-Lindisfarne students’ and we encourage any surfer that does not attend Lindisfarne to apply.

Is the Academy recognised as a school subject that goes towards an athletes Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)?

No, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School administers all educational components of the Academy program.
