2022 Woolworths Queensland Grommet Champions to be Crowned on the Gold Coast This Weekend

GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND (Friday 10 June, 2022) – Queensland’s best grommets descend on the Gold Coast this weekend, 11-12 June for Event Two of the 2022 Woolworths Queensland Grommet Titles. 

A mixture of Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast surfers will be competing at the two-day event, vying for a Queensland Title across four divisions – Under 12 Girls, Under 12 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 14 Boys. The results from event one and two will be combined to determine the overall Queensland Champions. 

The conditions will be nice and clean with predicted light to moderate winds, although a small 1-2ft swell. 

The Woolworths Grom and Junior State Titles provide the exclusive pathway into the 2022 Australian Junior Surfing Titles which will be held at North Stradbroke 26 Nov – 3 Dec.
