Surfing Australia is extremely proud to extend its partnership with iconic Queensland milk brand, Breaka, for a further two years.
Breaka will return as the presenting partner of the Australian Interschools Surf Championships, following a successful partnership in 2025.
The Australian Interschools Surf Championships is Australia’s largest and most prestigious school surfing competition, a grassroots event that shines a light on the nation’s rising stars while supporting extracurricular activities within the education system.
Mimicking the unique tag-team format of the iconic Australian Boardriders Battle series, the event encourages strong team camaraderie, smart heat strategy, and a focus on teamwork.

In addition, Breaka is partnering with Surfing Queensland as part of the upcoming Surfing Australia Junior Series, further strengthening its commitment to supporting young athletes in its home state. This partnership strategically aligns with Surfing Queensland’s 10,000-point event, Parko’s Junior Pro, set to commence on April 14 on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. As well as three Junior and Grom QLD State Titles, First Set GromQuest, and the Cooee Grommet Pro.
Luca Liussi, Chief Executive Officer at Surfing Queensland, said the renewed partnership with Breaka will play a key role in strengthening junior development across the state:
“Surfing Queensland is excited to partner again with Breaka, this time supporting our junior pathway events across the state, building on a strong history together that dates back to the Breaka Burleigh Pro. Breaka’s support will help create valuable opportunities for young athletes through the Queensland junior pathways, and with on-site activations and a long-standing commitment to surfing, they are an ideal partner to help grow the next generation of surfers.”
Proudly produced in Queensland, Breaka is passionate about giving back to its heartland and nurturing the next generation of Australian surfers, all whilst bringing the flavour of fun. These partnerships highlight Breaka’s dedication to celebrating the fun and the vibrant surf culture deeply rooted in the Sunshine State.
Chloe Saxton, Breaka Brand Manager, said the brand is excited to support the next generation of surfing stars and celebrate the Queensland lifestyle:
“We’re stoked to be bringing the flavour of fun to surfing in Queensland and supporting junior surfers across Australia. Breaka has always been part of Queensland’s lifestyle, and we’re excited to champion young talent in our home state and beyond.”

Luke Madden, Chief of Sport & Partnershipsat Surfing Australia, said the partnership captures the spirit of exploration that defines the Australian surfing lifestyle.
“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Breaka, a brand that shares Surfing Australia’s passion for supporting young Australians and celebrating our vibrant surf culture. The Australian Interschools Surf Championships, presented by Breaka, was a huge success last year. Breaka will play a key role in continuing to grow this event over the next two years; supporting young surfers, bringing fun and energy to the competition, and helping develop grassroots surfing in schools across the country.”
Surfing Australia and Breaka are proud to extend this partnership in supporting the next generation of surfing stars, all while bringing the flavour of fun. As presenting partner of the Australian Interschools Surf Championships, running from 13–15 May 2026, Breaka reinforces its commitment to nurturing young talent and celebrating the vibrant surf culture deeply rooted in the Sunshine State.
