Casuarina/NSW (April 21st/2022): Now that it’s a contractual requirement for World Surf League (WSL) World Tour athletes to surf in a minimum number of Challenger Series event the list of big names in the heat draw for the Boost Mobile Pro at Snapper Rocks starting on May 7th.

Most recreational surfers would pay good money to have the Snapper lineup with only three other surfers so it’s little wonder the likes of Gilmore, Slater, Colapinto, Wright and more have opted to make the event their ‘must do’ event.

For athletes on the edge of the mid-season cut it makes total sense not to miss the first Challenger Series event, giving themselves the best start/chance of re-qualification in the back half of 2022.

WIth 96 men and 64 women in the draw for the Snapper CS event, the action shall be coming at viewers both on screen and beach, thick and fast. Strap in.
