FCS And Surfing Australia Lock-In For Another Two Years

Published on 03/03/2021

CASUARINA/NSW Wednesday, March 3rd/2021): Surfing Australia and FCS have strengthened their cutting-edge hardware partnership, signing off until June 2022.

FCS will continue as the exclusive fin and hardware provider to the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC). This includes the innovative FCS Find Your Fin Room, an activation available to all HPC participants as part of training and surf camp functionality.

The FCS Find Your Fin Room ties in perfectly with Surfing Australia’s Surfboard Empire Demo Centre that includes craft shaped through the Surfboard Empire stable supporting brands like Pyzel, Lost, MR Surfboards and more.

In addition to the wide selection of fins in the test centre, FCS will provide hardware including FCS leashes, traction and boardcovers for the boards in the HPC test quiver. They will also provide prize packs for participants at many of the HPC camps.

Surfing Australia’s Head of Partnerships, Clarissa Wilson said: “FCS continuing our long-standing partnership as exclusive provider of fins & hardware for the Surfing Australia HPC is incredibly important not only for us but for the thousands of people that come through our doors to surf. Surfing Australia Studios will be producing FCS branded digital content to be published across our digital and linear TV platforms. This new deal takes us into our seventh year together, cementing our natural synergy.”

Surf Hardware’s Australasian Regional Manager,  Drew Quinnell, said: “FCS is excited to extend our partnership with Surfing Australia for the next two years as their primary hardware sponsor and to continue our history of producing engaging content together.”

“It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to showcase our range of fins and hardware in the high-quality facility of the High Performance Centre, and to provide surfers of all levels with products to test and try.  The core purpose of FCS is to “enhance the surfing experience” and in this sense Surfing Australia and FCS are completely aligned.   We look forward to the next two years and beyond.”
