Sheldon Simkus Surfs His RIVALS Season III Heat And Scores Overcast Barrels

Sheldon Simkus called his RIVALS Season III heat on last Saturday morning as swell poured around the point at his beloved Snapper Rocks.

Shelly didn’t hesitate to go green after doing a quick check of the conditions despite the rain and chronic sweep behind the rock. While partner Macy Callaghan grabbed a coffee, there had already been two deep barrels ridden and a couple of solid turns put down.

By the time our stopwatches beeped for three hours of power Sheldon was ready for breakfast and a coffee after cutting a dozen or so laps on the foot falcons from Greenmount back to Snapper.

Scoring waves in the bank, mission accomplished…
