• The competition period commences at 10:00am AEST on 14/02/2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 17/04/2025 (competition period), and Surfing Australia reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval, if required).
•  Complete the competition online entry form on the Surfing Australia website https://surfingaustralia.com/winwithboostandjacksignup providing Surfing Australia with personal details, including: First Name / Last Name / Email Address / Phone Number / Postcode. Entrants will then need to accept the Terms and Conditions and Surfing Australia’s Privacy Policy in order to enter the competition.
• The competition will be advertised on the Surfing Australia website, Surfing Australia Facebook, Instagram and Linkdin, Surfing Australia email, across promotional marketing, and partnership channels, and will include a link or instructions to the competition page.
• No late entries will be accepted. Only one entry is valid per person.

• There will be one (1) winner only who will be chosen by random draw in the presence of an independent scrutineer which will take place at 10:00am AEST on 17/04/2025 at 9 Barclay Drive, New South Wales, 2487
• The winner will be notified by phone and email on the day of the draw.
• The results of the draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
• The winner will be published by 18/04/2025 at https://surfingaustralia.com/news/all/
• If the winner does not claim the prize by 9am AE2T 02/04/2025 after being notified by Surfing Australia that they have won the competition, or if the winner is not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by Surfing Australia to identify the winner was unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize.
• An unclaimed prize draw if required will be held in the presence of an independent scrutineer at 10am AEDT on 04/04/2025 at the same location as the original draw. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified via phone and email on the day of the unclaimed prize draw and published by 25/05/2025 at https://surfingaustralia.com/news/all/
• Should the prize remain unclaimed on 13/04/2025 by the unclaimed prize winner, the prize will not be awarded.

By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Surfing Australia may require without remuneration, including photography and video content. They may also be required to supply photographs, video and written testimonials of their experience with the product for marketing purposes. You agree:

1. ) to exclusively assign any and all rights and title you may have in such Material (including any copyright) to the Promoter, which assignment shall be royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable and entitle the Promoter to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, broadcast and display such Material for any purpose whatsoever, including commercial purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability; and in addition you:

• ) agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use of the Material by the Promoter; and
• ) Warrant that you own all rights in the Material and have the full authority to grant the rights set out in this clause and that your use, and the use by the Promoter, of the Material will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party;

The winner also consents to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winner, including but not limited to likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of you) in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winner.

• One (1) major winner will receive a VIP surfing experience and trip to the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre with three friends. The prize includes:

  • Accommodation for one night (twin share) at the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (value $850)
  • Burleigh Pavilion voucher (value $400)
  • Sign Jack Robinson jersey (value $180)
  • Video and training session with Jack Robinson (value $2,000)
  • 4 x Urbnsurf voucher four one hour session in Sydney or Melbourne (value $480)
  • Surfing Australia $300 SIM card (value $300)
• Total prize value for this prize option is $4,910 including GST as at the publishing date of these terms and conditions.
• The prize is open to residents of states and territories of Australia excluding the Australian Capital Territory.
• The winner and their guests must comply with the terms and conditions of all competition partners and experiences. If an attendee does not comply that inclusion will be forfeited.
• Surfing Australia provides no compensation for any additional costs incurred in relation to Prizes, including but not limited to travel and travel insurance.
• Winner is responsible for their own travel arrangements associated outside of stated prize inclusions.
• No part of a prize is exchangeable, transferrable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
• If the prizes are not available for any reason, Surfing Australia reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by Surfing Australia to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Surfing Australia’s control, Surfing Australia may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Surfing Australia to be of equal or higher value.

• Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
• Surfing Australia reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page at Surfing Australia. It is the entrant’s responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments.  Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Surfing Australia.
• If the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond Surfing Australia’s control, Surfing Australia may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, to the extent permitted by law.
• Surfing Australia does not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason during the competition period.
• To the extent permitted by law, Surfing Australia shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the redemption or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:
  • technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or
  • acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Surfing Australia‘s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of Surfing Australia; or
  • Indirect, economic or consequential loss; or
  • Liability for personal injury or death.

• Surfing Australia collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and any company with whom we are running the competition.
• By entering this competition, you agree to receive marketing communications from Surfing Australia and its partners and agree to be enrolled in Surfing Australia’s programs.
• Surfing Australia is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
• The laws of New South Wales apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of New South Wales.
