Victorian Longboard Titles presented by Surfers Rescue 24/7 wrapped up in epic conditions at Corner 13th Beach

The Victorian Longboard Titles got well underway in epic conditions over the weekend at Corner Beach. Waves were in the 2-3 foot range, and winds were favourable for both days of competition. 

Leaving everyone in the heat in a combination situation and taking full advantage of the lefts on offer, Ben Considine walked away with the win in the Open Mens Logger division, posting a combined heat total of 19.37, posting two excellent scores of a 9.50 and 9.87 (out of a possible ten).

“The waves were fun all weekend” Said Considine

“I’m stoked to come out with the win” he added. 

High scores were also posted within the Open Women’s Loggers division, with Bea Conroy taking the win. Conroy posted scores leading her to a combined heat total of 15.60, leaving Emma Webb in second position chasing a 7.11 and Eglantine Balland in third position needing a combination of sacred to improve on her situation. 

“The conditions were nice” said Conroy

“I’m stoked that we got some waves” she added. 

Other standout performers from the weekends competition included Greg Brown, John Lane, Wayne Yates, Tate Russell, Tim Edwards, Niamh Moore, Ted Conroy, Heather Peck, Anna Thompson and Andrew Burgan.
