Published on 25/11/2024

Surfing Australia is thrilled to unveil the 2025 National Titles schedule, showcasing a variety of surfing disciplines across iconic locations around the country.

The calendar kicks off with the Australian Para Surfing Titles in Byron Bay, NSW, from March 23-25, 2025, followed by the Australian Longboard Titles on the Tweed Coast, NSW, from July 22-27.

The Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles return to Bells Beach, VIC, from May 30-June 1.

For the first time, the Australian Bodyboard Titles will be held at URBNSURF Sydney on August 21-22, bringing the event to a wave park venue.

The Australian Shortboard Titles head to Wollongong, NSW, from August 26-31, while the Australian SUP Titles return to Phillip Island, VIC, from October 21-25.

The year concludes with the Australian Junior Surfing Titles with a location to be announced in coming weeks.

Surfing Australia’s Chief of Sport – Events, Participation, and Community, Luke Madden, said: “We’re stoked to see each discipline hosting their National Titles at stand-alone locations, with waves perfectly suited to their unique styles of surfing, all while showcasing some of the best surf spots across the country.

“After an incredible event in 2024, the Australian SUP Titles return to Phillip Island, Victoria, as part of a two-year partnership with Bass Coast Shire. It’s also exciting to see URBNSURF Sydney hosting the Australian Bodyboard Titles for the first time, marking a new chapter for Surfing Australia.

“The Tweed Coast in NSW is back for the Longboard Titles after an epic debut this year, including an Opening Ceremony at the Hyundai High Performance Centre, while Wollongong continues to shine as the home of the Shortboard Titles, thanks to our strong partnership with Destination Wollongong.

“We’re especially excited to work with para surfers, led by Mark ‘Mono’ Stewart, to host the Australian Para Surfing Titles in Byron Bay alongside an Association of Adaptive Surfing Professionals (AASP) World Tour event. In the coming weeks we will announce the Surfing Australia Junior Series including the location for the 2025 Australian Junior Surfing Titles.”
