Australia has named the four athletes who will represent the nation at the 2026 ISA World Longboard Surfing Championships, with the Irukandjis set to take on the world’s best in El Salvador from 16–25 October.
The 2026 Australian Longboard Team brings together a mix of national champions, World Longboard Tour & ISA Championship experience, and some of the country’s most accomplished longboard talent.
Leading the women’s team is reigning Australian Open Women’s Longboard Champion Emma Perrier, who claimed a National Title at the 2025 Australian Longboard Titles and established herself as one of Australia’s premier longboarders.
“It’s a pretty surreal feeling to represent Australia. It’s extra special because I get to do it with a couple of my close mates, so I know it’s going be so much fun!”

Joining her is Kirra Molnar, with experience as a World Surf League (WSL) World Longboard Tour competitor, and multi-time Australian Longboard team member, bringing valuable international experience to the Australian squad.
“I’m honoured to once again represent Australia at the ISA World Longboard Championships. Surfing is such an individual sport, so getting to compete alongside such an incredible team and sharing the camaraderie while wearing the green and gold is something really special.”
“The ISA Worlds brings together the biggest field of the worlds best longboarders, and I’m excited to test myself against the world’s best. I’m also looking forward to returning to El Salvador, with its world-class waves and welcoming culture.”

In the men’s division, Archy Bemrose brings further experience, a member of the 2025 Australian Longboard Irukandjis, earning selection after finishing runner-up in the Open Men’s division at the 2025 Australian Longboard Titles.
“I’m so excited to represent Australia for a second year in a row! It’s an honour to wear the green and gold again, and I’m looking forward to testing myself against some of the best longboarders in the world.”
“Time to channel a bit of Dane Henry El Salvador energy! I’ve been working hard to evolve my surfing to better suit the ISA longboard judging criteria, while staying true to my style. I’ve been working closely with the Mctavish team on a special longboard that strikes the perfect balance between traditional logging and modern high-performance surfing.”

A new additon to the Irukandjis team, Landen Smales continues to make history as the 2025 Australian Indigenous Longboard and Shortboard Champion, highlighting his versatility across both disciplines.
“I’m proud to have the chance to represent Australia & to carry my culture and my mob with me. I’m really looking forward to competing against the world’s best and surfing in El Salvador.”
The team will travel to El Salvador this October to compete against the world’s best longboarders, with national pride and the coveted ISA team title on the line.
