Coffs Harbour Boardriders Win the Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle Northern NSW Qualifier

Coffs Harbour Boardriders have taken out the Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle Northern NSW regional qualifier. Following a giant day of action-packed heats in 2ft playful peaks at Macauleys Beach.

The local crew from Coffs Harbour Boardriders was comprised of AOS Open Women’s winner Rosie Smart, Ethan Stocks, Will Martin, Lee Winkler and Jayke Sharp.

Coffs Harbour Boardriders female surfer Rosie Smart was the in-form surfer of the day, with her impressive ability to drop consist excellent scoring waves. In the Final match up Smart was able to drop a 9.5 (out of a possible 10) to help secure the win with her teammates. 

Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, Le-Ba and Kingscliff all have now qualified for the National final, which will be held on the 9th and 10th of March, 2024 in Burleigh Heads, QLD.

Clubs that competed included Coffs Harbour, Le-Ba (Lennox / Ballina), Port Macquarie, Kingscliff, Byron Bay, Sawtell, Cabarita, Woolgoolga, Saltwater and Angourie.
