Coffs Harbour to host final Australian Boardriders Battle event for 2021

MAROUBRA BEACH, SYDNEY (Friday, 17 December 2021): The Hyundai Australian Boardriders northern NSW regional qualifier will kick off this weekend in Coffs Harbour.

The Australian Boardriders Battle will see nine boardriders clubs competing for the chance to qualify for the national final which will take place in 2022.

Clubs that will be competing include Coffs Harbour, Le-Ba(Lennox / Ballina), Boomerang, Port Macquarie, Kingscliff, Byron Bay, Sawtell, Cabarita and Woolgoolga.

The prime locations for the Australian Boardriders Battle is Macauley’s with backup locations of Park Beach, Gallows and Diggers Beach.

All competitors are advised to ring the event hotline (0458 247 212) by 6.45 am on the days of competition to confirm location and running order.

The 2021/22 Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle has been bigger and better than ever since launching into its ninth season on the Gold Coast earlier this year.

In what has become world-renowned as the biggest and best club surfing series on the planet, the nine-leg Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle Series travels to all corners of the country with events at epic locations like Newcastle for the National Final.
