Fourteen boardrider clubs to contest the Australian Boardriders Battle in Kiama

MAROUBRA BEACH, SYDNEY (Friday, 10 December 2021):The Hyundai Australian Boardriders southern NSW regional qualifier will kick off this weekend in Kiama.

The Australian Boardriders Battle will see 14 boardriders clubs competing for the chance to qualify for the national final which will take place in 2022.

Clubs that will be competing include Sandon Point, Bondi, Maula Bay, Bronte, Werri Beach, Culburra, Dalmeny, Maroubra United, Port Kembla, Scarborough, Jones Beach, Elouera, Cronulla Sharks and Ulladulla.

The prime locations for the Australian Boardriders Battle is Jones Beach with backup locations of Bombo, Kiama Surf Beach and Werri.

All competitors are advised to ring the event hotline (0458 247 212) by 6.45am on the days of competition to confirm location and running order.

The 2021/22 Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle has been bigger and better than ever since launching into its ninth season on the Gold Coast earlier this year.

In what has become world-renowned as the biggest and best club surfing series on the planet, the nine-leg Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle Series travels to all corners of the country with events at epic locations like Newcastle for the National Final.
