Queensland’s best groms descend on the Sunshine Coast for the Woolworths QLD Grommet Titles

SUNSHINE COAST, QUEENSLAND (Thursday 26 May 2022) – Queensland’s best grommets are set to descend on the Sunshine Coast this weekend, 28 – 29 May for the 2022 Woolworths Queensland Grommet Titles. 

A strong mixture of Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast surfers will be competing at the two-day event, showcasing Queensland’s brightest young up-and-coming surfers across four divisions – Under 12 Girls, Under 12 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 14 Boys.

The conditions are looking favourable, with the return of sunshine, swell and light offshore winds forecast for both event days. 

The Woolworths Grom and Junior State Titles provide the exclusive pathway into the 2022 Australian Junior Surfing Titles which will be held at North Stradbroke 26 Nov – 3 Dec.
