She’s Electric: Powering Potential

Published on 01/08/2022

The first all-women’s ABB leaderboard connecting ABB performance data around the country to unearth breakout talent. Will you make Hyundai’s Team Electric?

Surfing Australia and Hyundai are launching She’s Electric a platform to recognise and amplify female grassroots athletes on a national scale.

It will be the very first national women’s surfing leaderboard leveraging LiveHeats™ data from Australian Boardriders Battles events around the country to recruit Team Electric – a Hyundai-sponsored team given the support and exposure to make it to the top. This includes a three-day intensive training at the Hyundai Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC) and $5,000 cash for the overall winner to go toward their surfing journey.

Hyundai is giving women in Boardriders Battles all around Australia the chance to be discovered, wherever they surf. One leaderboard, one wave, infinite opportunity.
