Will Sally Fitzgibbons LockDown Her First World Title?

Published on 06/09/2021

Sally Fitzgibbons has been a fixture in the top five her entire career. Since she qualified for the Championship Tour in 2009, she’s only ended a season outside the top five twice. In fact, with her 12 event wins and whopping three runner-up finishes, Sally is perhaps the best surfer ever to not win a title. But that could all change in a matter of days. An unstoppable drive and an explosive skillset that fits Lower Trestles perfectly make her one of the favourites to be crowned World Champion this year. Will she finally lock down her well-deserved first World Title? Find out when she competes for the World Title at the Rip Curl WSL Finals September 9-17 on worldsurfleague.com.

Stay tuned into WSL as we prepare you for the title-deciding event and break down each of the potential World Champions.
