SURFING AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCES 2025 LONGBOARD IRUKANDJIS TEAM FOR ISA WORLD LONGBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Surfing Australia is proud to announce the four talented athletes who will represent the nation as The Irukandjis at the 2025 ISA World Longboard Championships in Surf City, El Salvador. The event, set to take place from April 25 to May 1, 2025, will see Australia’s finest longboarders competing against the world’s best at the renowned break of El Sunzal.

Meet the 2025 Australian Team:

Tully White (Allambie Heights, NSW) – 2024 Australian Longboard Champion
Tully White enters the ISA World Championships fresh off her Australian title win. A fierce competitor and stylish longboarder, White is eager to bring her A-game to El Sunzal, where she will showcase her technical prowess and smooth rail-to-rail transitions on the world stage.

Clinton Guest (Bokarina, QLD) – Wildcard Selection
A veteran of international longboarding, Clinton Guest is no stranger to the ISA stage. Having previously competed in El Salvador, he knows the wave and is ready to bring experience, style, and competitive fire to the team.

“Representing Australia again is the ultimate honour,” Guest says. “I want to inspire the next generation and make new memories with the team.”

Melanie Staunton (Belmont, VIC) – Wildcard Selection
Hailing from Victoria, Melanie Staunton is set to make her mark on the world stage. Her graceful yet powerful approach to longboarding makes her a strong contender at El Sunzal, where she aims to push her limits against the world’s best.

Archy Bemrose (Kingscliff, NSW) – Wildcard Selection
A rising star from Kingscliff, Archy Bemrose brings fresh energy to the team. Known for his fluid style and innovative maneuvers, Bemrose is thrilled to don the green and gold and test himself in El Salvador’s renowned point break.
